BARE BOAT

A boat can be chartered as a "bare boat" without a captain (own sailing or motor license required).

As the charter company will "lose" control every detail of the boat has to be checked before and after the charter to ensure the condition.

The non bare boat alternative is chartering a boat together with a captain for a sheduled or private tour.
